MANI

IN LACONIA
TALES OF STONE, LIGHT AND TEMPERAMENT UNRAVEL AT A PLACE CHARACTERIZED BY A FASCINATING HARDNESS THAT FEATURES HUGE STEEP CLIFFS, WINDING ROADS HANGING OVER DEEP BLUE WATERS, AND PICTURESQUE VILLAGES OF UNIQUE BEAUTY HIDING IN SMALL BAYS.

• MUST SEE •

Make the unforgettable route to Cape Tenaro. From Gerolimenas, it takes 15 minutes to reach the deserted fortress of Vathia which is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Greece. Reach Kokkinogheia, the starting point for the path of Tenaro, where the atmosphere conveys an eerie and mystic energy. It is a life experience.

KYRIMAI

OUR DECISION IN 2003 was not to just build a hotel, but to revive the home of our ancestors. Kyrimai offers its guests, relaxation, culture and wellbeing. It is a reference point for the cultural history of Mani and so much more, offering visitors a journey in times of commercial prosperity, political passions and history. The visitor has the chance to experience unknown aspects of Mani and enjoy the atmosphere of an era 150 years ago. From this beautiful cultural journey, we cannot leave out the “rich “ gastronomy of the “poor” Mani.
IN ORDER TO BE HOSPITABLE to someone, we must set a place for him at the table. When we started, we wanted our visitor to experience the richness of the harsh land of Mani, by showcasing its gastronomy, discovering old recipes and cooking styles and adding a modern touch for an impressive result. We cooperated with small producers and farmers who offered few but precious products. We use only local ingredients. Our chef, Stavriani Zervakakou, with her passion and continuous pursuit of gastronomic tastes, creates unique dishes full of aroma and traditional flavors.  www.kyrimai.gr
